Summary
Pdf Filler works entirely on your device. Your PDF documents and the details you type into them are never uploaded to us or to any server.
You do not need an account, sign-up or login to use the app. We do not collect, store or sell your personal data.
The app is free and supported by ads provided by Google AdMob, which may collect limited data in order to show those ads. That is described in full in the third-party section below.

Google AdMob — advertising
Google LLC
Displays a single full-screen interstitial ad when you download or share a completed PDF. This is what keeps the app free. If the ad cannot load, or you are offline, your file is still saved and shared normally.
What they can see
- Your device’s advertising ID — a resettable number, not your name
- IP address, and approximate location derived from it
- Device information such as model, operating system, language and network state
- Ad interaction data — which ads were shown and whether they were tapped
This is collected by Google LLC, not by us, and is governed by its own policies.
Information we collect
We, the developer, do not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- Your PDF files, the text you add, your signature, any photos or images you add — including a signature photo you upload or capture — and your form entries are stored only on your device: in the app’s own private space on your phone, and, if you choose Download, in your Downloads folder.
- Saved drafts remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
- We operate no servers and receive none of this content.
Permissions
- Files and photos
- You choose which PDF to open using Android’s document picker or the "Open with" option, and which photos to add using Android’s photo picker. The app only ever receives the file you selected — it cannot browse anything else. What you pick is copied into the app’s own private space on your phone so it can be edited, and it stays on your device.
- Camera
- The app does not ask for camera permission. When you choose Capture to photograph a signature, your phone’s own camera app takes the picture and hands the image back. It is processed and stored only on your device.
- Internet and network state
- Used only to load advertisements. No document data is transmitted at any point.
Data sharing
We do not share your documents or personal data with anyone, because we do not collect them. When you use Share, the completed PDF is sent only to the app you pick — for example WhatsApp or your email client. That transfer is initiated by you and governed by that app’s own privacy policy.
Controlling ad personalisation
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier and opt out of personalised ads from your device settings, usually under Settings → Google → Ads. Where required by law — for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — a consent message managed by Google is shown before personalised ads are served, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
Data retention and deletion
All content stays on your device. To remove it, delete individual drafts within the app, delete downloaded files from your Downloads folder, or uninstall the app to remove all of its data. Data processed for advertising is retained by Google under its own policies.
Children’s privacy
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Because your documents never leave your device through the app, they are protected by your device’s own security. Please keep your device secure and its software up to date.
Your rights and choices
- Delete any draft from inside the app at any time.
- Remove exported files from your device’s Downloads folder.
- Uninstall the app to erase all locally stored app data.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, from your device settings.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or erase. Requests concerning advertising data should be directed to Google, which acts as the controller for that data.
