We collect nothing about you. This site has no accounts, no forms and no tracking of our own — there is nothing here for us to collect, because we did not build anything that collects. Cloudflare, which serves the site, adds bot protection and aggregate analytics of its own before the page reaches you; both are described below rather than left out, because they run on your visit whether or not we wrote them.
What this page covers
This policy is about the website at flyinfinitystudio.com — the pages you are reading right now. Our Android apps are separate: each one has its own privacy policy, because each handles data differently. You can read any of them directly.
Cookies, tracking and scripts
Our own code sets no cookies, carries no tag manager, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no fingerprinting. It does run JavaScript — it draws the pages, and that is the whole of it. It fetches nothing from any other host, records nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere. A test measures how much of it the site sends and fails when that grows past a fixed budget, so it cannot creep up unnoticed.
There is one thing we do keep in your browser, and only if you ask for it. If you use the light or dark control in the header, your choice is saved on your own device under the name fis-theme so the site opens the way you left it. It holds one word — light or dark — it never leaves your device, it identifies nobody, and nothing is written until you press the control: leave it alone and we store nothing at all. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it, and the site goes back to following your system setting.
Cloudflare, which serves this site, adds two things of its own at the edge, before the page reaches you. We do not write this code and it is not part of what we build, but it runs on your visit, so it belongs here rather than in a footnote.
The first is bot protection. It runs a short script that checks whether the request comes from a browser or an automated client, and it sets one cookie, cf_clearance, to remember the answer. It is a security measure, not an advertising or profiling one, and it is not used to track you between sites.
The second is Cloudflare’s own web analytics, and that one we chose. It reports how many people opened a page and how quickly it loaded. It is designed not to use cookies and not to fingerprint visitors, and what it gives us is counts rather than people: we can see that a page was opened thirty times, and we cannot see who opened it, cannot tell one visitor from another, and cannot follow anybody from here to anywhere else. It does mean your browser contacts a Cloudflare address on each visit.
We keep it because we would otherwise have no idea whether anything here is read, and the alternative offers — the ones that do identify people and follow them between sites — are the reason this page exists. Both of Cloudflare’s services are covered by its own privacy policy, linked below.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. As the infrastructure provider, Cloudflare processes standard request metadata — your IP address, the requested URL, your user agent and a timestamp — in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. This is ordinary web-server operation and applies to every website. We do not build profiles from it, export it, or combine it with anything else.
Cloudflare’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy, which you can read at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Fonts and assets
All fonts and images are served from this domain. The typefaces are downloaded when the site is built and served from here afterwards, so nothing is loaded from a font host, a content delivery network or any other external service, and browsing this site does not disclose your visit to anyone else.
Links away from this site
Pages here link out to Google Play, YouTube and the privacy policies of the companies our apps rely on. Once you follow such a link you are on that company’s property and their policies apply, not ours. Opening an email link hands the address to whichever mail app you have chosen; we receive nothing until you actually send a message.
Contacting us
If you email us, we will have your message and your email address for as long as it takes to answer you, and in our mailbox thereafter. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list — we do not operate one.
Children
This site is an informational site about software. It is not directed to children, and since it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Your rights
Data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, export and erase personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to act on — but if you would like written confirmation of that, email us and we will provide it. For the request metadata processed by Cloudflare as our provider, contact us and we will pass the request on.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above changes with it. Because the site is open about its own construction, any change here reflects a real change in how the site works — which is exactly why the paragraph about scripts is written the way it is.
