01Summary

Spin Wheel collects nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of ours for anything to be sent to — we cannot see your wheels, your options or your results.

Everything you make stays in the app’s own private space on your phone, and uninstalling deletes all of it.

The only part of the app that uses the internet is advertising, served by Google AdMob. That is the one outside company involved, and it is described in full below.

02Data safety at a glance

These are the same answers declared in the Google Play Console "Data safety" form for this app.

Data collected by us
No data collected by the developer. Google AdMob uses your advertising ID.
Data shared
No data shared by the developer
Encryption in transit
Ad requests are sent over an encrypted connection; nothing else leaves your phone
Can you delete your data
Yes — clear history or a wheel in the app, or uninstall to remove everything

03Other companies involved

Every outside company this app relies on, what it does for the app, and what it can see.

Google AdMob — advertising

Google LLC

Shows the ads that pay for the app. Spinning is never interrupted by one, and new users see no full-screen ads at all for the first three days. Rewarded video is entirely optional — it appears only when you tap a button asking to watch one, and it grants a full hour with no ads.

What they can see

  • Your device’s advertising ID — a resettable number, not your name
  • IP address, and rough location worked out from it
  • Device information such as model, operating system version and language
  • Which ads were shown, viewed or tapped

This is collected by Google LLC, not by us, and is governed by its own policies.

Google LLC privacy policy

04Information we collect

Nothing. We run no servers, no accounts and no analytics of our own. We cannot see your wheels, the options on them, your results or how you use the app, because none of it is ever sent to us. There is no signup and no login, and the app has no way to create an account.

05What stays on your phone

The app keeps the following in its own private space on your phone. None of it leaves your device:

Your wheels
The options on each wheel, their weights and their colours, so your wheels are there next time you open the app.
Spin history
Past results, and how often each option has come up.
Your settings
Sound, vibration, theme, language, label size and spin length.
Ad timing
The date you first opened the app and when any ad-free hour expires, so the app knows how often to show an ad.
Your advertising consent choice
Remembered so it can be honoured the next time you open the app.

If you use Android’s own backup, this local data may be included in your personal device backup. That backup belongs to you and your Google account, and we have no access to it.

06Permissions

The app itself asks for only two things:

Internet
Loading ads, and nothing else. Every feature of the app works offline.
Vibration
Haptic feedback as the wheel ticks and lands. Switchable off in settings.

Google’s advertising component adds several more permissions of its own, which is why they appear on the Play Store listing. We do not use any of them ourselves, but you are entitled to know what they are for: checking whether you have a connection before requesting an ad; reading the advertising ID; the newer Android privacy-sandbox permissions for ad measurement and relevance; keeping the screen awake during a video ad; and background work the ad component performs while rendering.

The app requests no access to your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or precise location.

07Your advertising choices

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you are asked for consent before any personalised ad is shown. You can change that answer at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app. The option appears only where consent rules apply.
  • Anywhere in the world, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads on your phone. Deleting it stops personalised advertising — you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.
  • Watch one optional rewarded video to remove ads entirely for an hour.
  • Data Google holds for advertising can be reviewed and managed at myadcenter.google.com.

08Sharing and selling

We do not sell your data, because we hold none. Nothing is shared with any company other than Google, for advertising, exactly as described above. We receive only anonymous totals such as how many ads were shown.

09Children's privacy

Spin Wheel is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app collects nothing itself, we hold nothing to delete. If you believe a child has been shown unsuitable advertising, contact us and we will review the app’s ad content settings.

10Security and retention

Your data stays in the app’s private space, which Android keeps isolated from other apps. Because we transmit and store nothing ourselves, there is no server of ours that could be breached. Everything is kept until you delete it.

11Your rights and choices

  • Delete any wheel from the My Wheels screen.
  • Clear your spin history from the History screen.
  • Turn sound and vibration off in settings.
  • Uninstall the app, or use Android Settings → Apps → Spin Wheel → Storage → Clear data, to remove everything at once.
  • Reset or delete your advertising ID from your phone’s Google settings.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or erase. Requests about advertising data should go to Google, which is the controller for it.

12Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example if analytics or another outside service were ever added — we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app’s Play Store release notes.

13Contact

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, or about how Spin Wheel: Random Picker handles information, contact us and we will respond.
